TOGO:
Roger (Ger) and Kathy (USA) Stoll, and their three girls, recently arrived in this small country to serve among a people who are predominantly farmers and shepherds who live in small villages. (They are workers sent out by Radio Worldwide ministries.)
Roger writes, “We've been doing generally well. Our African colleagues have really helped us a lot. We found that we can rent a place from the Baptist mission for a good price and at a good location. We also just finished a meeting (in July) with our fellow trainer and we decided to postpone the start of our media school till January, since there are still so many things that we need to prepare. That will also give me time to improve my French.”
Pray that:
- Roger, Kathy and their children will adjust very well to the culture; people, practices and language of the Togo people.
- The planned Media Training Center will enjoy God’s grace, direction and success.
SENEGAL – Bourofaye Christian School (BCS):
Michelle Coward (USA) begins the new school year not only as a teacher, but co-principal as well. She will be pulling double duty because there are not enough teachers.
She asks us to pray that:
- “God will equip me for my new duties and energize me for the work to be done.
- “God will provide everything we need to make the BCS run smoothly this year. Pray there will also be good communication between everyone involved.
- “God will give me the knowledge and wisdom and the ability to make a decision when necessary. And that He will help me to communicate clearly and not be timid in asking people to do things.
- “God will provide the teaching staff and one dorm helper that we need.
