A New Paradigm

Churches have often felt as though they were not players in global missions. Their role was simply relegated to “pay and pray” for their workers. Amid the flat-earth revolution in technology and easy travel, churches can now partner with their cross-cultural workers in ways never envisioned before. After all, we talk to India to resolve computer problems, so why shouldn't your church be in regular contact with local churches around the world?
We’re convinced that the local church is central to training and sending people into church planting among unreached people groups. The church is the context in which cross-cultural workers are identified by leadership, nurtured and discipled, and then sent out by the Holy Spirit (Act 13:1-4).
But how can you obtain the training and resources needed to move your church forward in this type of new cross-cultural technology? How can you motivate your church members toward experiencing global Christianity for themselves in a personal, hands-on way?
