About WEC Trek USA

Through WEC International's short-term program, WEC Trek, you can live the Great Commission for up to one year by working alongside WEC members as an Individual Placement or as part of a small team. Our multi-ethnic, multi-national, multi-denominational and multi-generational family of 1700 cross-cultural workers is reflecting Jesus' love in a variety of ministries all around the globe.

Our vision is to provide short-term opportunities for you to share your faith and demonstrate God's love practically, supporting WEC ministries worldwide for the purpose of glorifying God.

You've heard it said that as Christians we’re not of this world, but just pilgrims traveling through until we get Home. In the meantime, God wants us to join Him in fulfilling His plan for the world. He wants to direct our journey. Get involved. Make a difference!

God's heart is for everyone to be saved (1 Timothy 2: 4). But millions of people in this world have never heard God's plan of salvation. God has given us believers the job of sharing His plan with them (Romans 10: 14-15). Sometimes the trek God leads us on takes us to far away places.

Individual Placement

IP is a unique short-term cross-cultural discipleship program geared to help you find your role in God's plan for the world by giving you the opportunity to

• see the mission field up close and personal,
• assist WEC personnel involved in ministries related to your specific interests and abilities,
• and to ask God the question, "is this what you want me to do?"

The IP program works within your time frame and offers year-round opportunities.

If you're serious about finding out where you fit into God's plan for the world; if you've done team trips and want a more realistic glimpse of cross-cultural ministry; if you want to grow deeper in your dependence on the Lord—then WEC Trek's IP program may be just for you.
