Meet the WEC Trek Staff
Holly McCleery
While on a short-term trip, Holly realized God was calling her to a career in cross-cultural ministry. She joined WEC in 1986 and served for nine years in West Africa as a nurse/midwife and supervisor for short-termers. In 1995 Holly returned to the States to lead the WEC Trek USA Team. And, she still loves her job! |

Ron and Tonda Byrum
Ron and Tonda’s experience in short-term cross-cultural ministry began with a family trip to Brazil in 1988. Their involvement continued through their local church by leading numerous short-term trips, and serving as youth leaders and mission directors. Ron and Tonda joined the WEC Trek USA Team in 2000. Their favorite part of their job is working with people who have a heart for the lost people of this world. |

Laura Campbell
Laura is a WEC Trek alumni (Central Asia, summer of 2003). After her Trek she finished her degree in music at Indiana University before heading to Phoenix Seminary to study Intercultural Studies. Now, she's back in Philly serving in the Trek office for two years as she continues to seek the Lord’s will for long term service. |
