Idols in the Classroom

While taking a ceramics class a worker was given an assignment that she believed she must refuse to do. The worker's response led to some interesting conversations and provided opportunities for her to share her faith.

The Long, Dark Alley

Ten minutes or so into our walk, as the paths narrowed into alleys and the buildings became taller, we approached a completely-black alleyway. Our guide led us through this black hole as though it were daylight while my sweating hand held hers tightly. Those behind us stopped, not knowing where to go and afraid of tripping. My heart raced with thoughts of what could happen in that terribly narrow, dark alley.

Trust and Obey

Some of you will remember when our family went to Philadelphia, PA, for WEC’s three-month Candidate Orientation course in 2008. What a faith journey!
